April 11–12 | Lori Wilson Park & the Cocoa Beach Shoreline
If you live on the Space Coast, you're already used to jaw-dropping things in the sky. Rocket launches. Shuttle flyovers. Starlink trains streaking overhead at midnight. But this April, something new is coming — and it's going to be loud, fast, and absolutely worth clearing your calendar for.
The 2026 Cocoa Beach Air Show lands on April 11th and 12th, and the headliner is the U.S. Navy Blue Angels.
What Is the Cocoa Beach Air Show?
This year's event is part of the Air Dot Show Tour — a national traveling airshow series — and rumor has it Cocoa Beach is its very first stop. The show takes place right on the beach along the Atlantic shoreline at Lori Wilson Park (1500 N Atlantic Ave, Cocoa Beach, FL 32931), giving spectators one of the most dramatic backdrops imaginable: ocean, sky, and jets.

Spring 2025 · Space Coast, Florida · Real Estate Tips
Here on Florida's Space Coast, spring arrives early — and so do buyers. The warm weather, blooming gardens, and longer evenings mean your home's exterior is practically on stage from February through May. The good news? You don't need a major renovation to make a stunning first impression. Most of these updates take a weekend or less, cost under a few hundred dollars, and can meaningfully boost your home's perceived value before it hits the market.
1. Power Wash Everything — It's a Game Changer
Florida's humidity means mold, mildew, and algae accumulate on driveways, sidewalks, and siding faster than almost anywhere in the country. A thorough power wash can make a 10-year-old driveway look nearly new. Start with the driveway and walkway, then work on the exterior walls, fencing, and shutters.
Rent a pressure washer for around $60–$100 for the day, or hire a local service foL ...

Florida living isn’t just about what’s inside your home—it’s about how you experience the outdoors. In Brevard County, the weather, scenery, and natural beauty make outdoor living an essential part of daily life. Patios, decks, backyards, and waterfront spaces aren’t just nice extras—they’re opportunities to create functional, enjoyable, and memorable areas that complement your indoor living. Whether you’re relaxing, entertaining, or connecting with nature, the right outdoor space can dramatically enhance your lifestyle and even your property value.
1. Create a Relaxation Retreat
Your outdoor area should be your personal sanctuary, a place to unwind and recharge after a busy day. Comfortable seating, a hammock, or a cozy swing can transform a simple patio into a peaceful retreat. Adding shaded areas—through pergolas, umbrellas, or retractable awnings—helps you stay comfortable even during Florida’s in. ...

Spring is the perfect time to maximize your outdoor living spaces, especially in Brevard County where the weather makes patios, decks, and yards usable most of the year. From entertaining guests to creating a relaxing retreat, small changes and strategic upgrades can make your exterior spaces more functional, comfortable, and enjoyable. Here’s how to make your outdoor areas work harder this season.
1. Create Multi-Functional Zones
Instead of just a patio or lawn, think about breaking your space into areas that serve different purposes. A small deck can double as a dining area and a reading nook with a comfy chair or swing. Adding a fire pit or portable heater allows for cooler spring evenings, while a shaded pergola or retractable awning keeps you comfortable during midday sun. Designing zones lets you use every square foot for multiple activities, whether it’s hosting friends or enjoying quiet alone time.
2. Upgrade Your Seating and Comfort

Spring is the perfect time to refresh your home and get ahead on maintenance before the hot, humid months hit in Brevard County. Coastal living brings unique challenges—from salty ocean air to occasional storms—so staying proactive helps protect both your investment and your daily comfort. A little preparation now can prevent bigger headaches later. Here’s a comprehensive checklist to make sure your home is ready for the season.
1. Inspect Your Roof and Gutters
Florida storms, high winds, and salt air can damage roofs more quickly than in other regions. Take the time to inspect your roof for missing, cracked, or loose shingles, and look for any signs of water intrusion inside your attic or ceilings. Gutters and downspouts should be cleared of leaves, sand, and debris so that rainwater flows freely, reducing the risk of leaks and water damage. While a DIY inspection can help identify obvious problems, hiring a professional roofer for a spring assessment ensures t ...
